Rugby Socks

Who would have thought that  rugby socksneeded to be  explained? However there are now massive choices when you want to buy rugby socks for your local club. Many  rugby clubs will settle for whatever they are given with their shirts and shorts from a limited imported range. This certainly isn't necessary these days.
Now you can give your club the socks they want. There are several standard designs such as plain 3 rings, contrast top , hooped which are all made from extra stretch nylon. Then there is the Euro sock which is a pro quality sock with support areas which can be bought from stock in plain colours and also with a one bar contrast.
If that is not enough for you then you can pick your own unique colour combination of any of these if you
don't like the stock colours. There will be a slightly longer delivery time to manufacture special colours
and a minimum order of 24 pieces.
Customized or Bespoke Rugby Socksare also available to have your own team name knitted into
the socks as they are made up. I have a separate report on Bespoke  Rugby Socks as it is a topic in its
own right.  The same applies though with regard to a minimumof only 24 pieces. Any of the above socks can also be manufactured with cotton feet for extra comfort. Again this involves a special make up and a slight wait for manufacture also a small extra cost.
These  rugby  socksare UK made so that the quality is guaranteed , there are never long wait times
and manufacture is flexible. These rugby socks can be bought at   http ://sockittoem.co.uk.
You won't be disappointed by the price or  the quality of the rugby socks.  If you have a need for football
socks or hockey socks then the same applies.

Mercurial Vapors

Nike Mercurial Vapors have been worn by Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribery and Aaron Lennon and first appeared in the World Cup 1998 when Brazil’s Ronaldo took to the field in this new style and technological advancement. Many similar players find this boot affective, striker and wingers, particularly fast skillful players wear the Mercurial Vapors as it seems to work well with their type of play. My son was so desperate to have a pair a few years ago because Robbie Keane wore them that he bought a pair that were a size too big. He scored the first time he wore them probably because he miskicked as the boots didn't fit and goalie didn't know where it was going!

I am going to bore you with the technicalities shortly but in essence what it all translates to is a light weight boot that is ideal for the quick and skilful type of player. Follow this link if you wish to consider the Mercurial Vapors and are in the UK.
Teijin synthetic upper is manufactured to go with the shape of the foot. Carbon-composite internal chassis transfers energy to the direct-injected studs allowing for instant acceleration. Daewoo synthetic lace cover creates a clean area to strike the ball.

Revolutionary 7-layer carbon, composite outsole shaves off weight while delivering maximum strength and flexibility. Superlight, super-strong direct injected dual-density moulded studs deliver optimal traction. Special coating on upper of boot enhances grip and improves ball control. So if you want to show your skills and run like a world champ then this boot is for you!

ps  One thing that applies to any boot is to break them in gently in a training session if possible and get used to them to avoid any initial discomfort in a match situation.

Adidas World Cup Football Boots - Classic - Timeless

At this time of year many active footballers will be considering what they should be wearing on their feet for the coming season. Many will go for a loud coloured , lightweight , meta tarsal endangering , bank breaking, fashion statement to set them apart from the rest of the dressing room. As all the players in the team usually wear the same clothing the only chance to so individuality is in the choice of football boots.

I am recommending that if you are currently looking to make your choice that you should consider Adidas World Cup football boots. This classic style has been at the top of the game and sought after by professionals for over 20 years. It is totally timeless and is still probably the most comfortable football boot on the market. Adidas World Cup football boots are made from Kangaroo leather, the uppers are soft and light, allowing footballers to feel more of the ball . Yet it is a model of strength and flexibility compared to more modern designs. The stud positioning is designed to give the wearer added stability, especially when turning. Adidas World Cup football boots have a flexible sole with screw-in studs which are ideally suited for good to soft ground conditions. The classic black and white colourway makes this adidas boot a real footballing icon.

To summarize you get a fantastic classic lightweight boot that also gives you a better than most protection and best of all they are currently on offer at the very good price of £55 if you are quick. If you would like to consider these further click on Adidas World Cup Football Boots

Social Networking for Football Clubs

All football fans want their opinion heard, whether its serious blogging or just telling your workmate that a goal should have been given offside. Its everyday chat and the lifeblood of millions of people.

Social Media is growing apace and with it websites and forums on all subjects where you can converse with people of similar interest. Football has such a huge appeal that there are thousands of sites already up which allow discussion of your favourite teams and the latest action. Many of these sites focus on particular clubs so that the focus is directed at the latest goings on at the club, who is playing that is not good enough , who they should buy next , how terrible the referee was in the last match etc. Unfortunately some of these sites often attract people that think its clever to swear and name call within their posts so look for a site that is well moderated if you decide to join the fray.

As a fan of a particular club I do tend to visit a few of the sites for my team and read the latest opinions but in general I like to participate in more general discussion so I go to a site that is less focused mostly. If you can find a site with blogs , videos ,opinions polls, forums etc it becomes fun and you can become part of the community very easily or even import your own community . Its possible now to bring in your own set of fans for a particular club and set up your own group within a bigger site. If you are a local club without a website you can form your own community within these sites now with your own unique forum and club page set up in minutes. Your club members can build personal pages and even load videos or pictures of the latest match . If your club has communication problems like posting the team for the match at the weekend its absolutely ideal. I use http://www.thebackofthenet.com/ but as it has all these facilities and more but there are choices out there that could benefit your club without spending any money.

These sites are fun and free to everybody that is interested in football. The content is all contributed by members who are football lovers from around the world and it changes everyday so its a great place to visit. I hope you will go and get involved if you love football.
